Nothing fancy here, just tried and true, old fashioned, family style recipes from my kitchen in Alaska. Saturday, March 17, 2018. This is a wonderful recipe. Not quite a brownie and not quite a traditional cheesecake. It is sweet, sticky, chocolate-y and oh so delicious! 1 cup milk chocolate. Put all of the cheesecake layer on.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. Tuesday afternoon, I received a call from my mom that Dad has been sick. He had just been to the VA hospital in DesMoines three days prior for severe neck pain. They gave him a numbing shot and then a muscle relaxant injection. It did help slightly but then got worse again. This morning, Thursday, August 6th, I called and talked to the ICU nurse. His spinal tap was negative. Thank God! Prayers for continued healing.
